Job: PR Officer, Median Recruitment Limited

Our client is a FTSE 100, global asset management company with just under £150 billion under management on behalf of institutional and retail investors, financial institutions and high net worth clients from around the world, invested in a broad range of asset classes across equities, fixed income and alternatives. They employ more than 2,600 talented people worldwide, operating from 35 offices in 26 different countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific and are now looking for an experienced PRO to join their successful team. Our client has developed under stable ownership for over 200 years and long-term thinking governs their approach to investing, building client relationships and growing their business. 

Reporting into the UK PR Manager your role will be to help implement the PR plans for the UK Retail & offering support as required to the Institutional Business. You will be an intelligent and proactive individual who is able to work independently but enjoy interacting with people in the business and wider PR team. You will have extensive PR work experience in-house or in an agency environment with contacts within financial press and have the potential to develop broader and deeper ones. Awareness of what makes a story and what journalists are interested in, an interest or knowledge of financial services and good verbal and written communications skills is essential.

This is a 12 month contract.
