Every two minutes someone, somewhere is having a heart attack. We are looking for 2 Press Officers to join our dynamic in house PR team and really make a difference helping us fight Coronary Heart Disease, the nation's biggest killer!

Press Officer (1 year contract)An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Press Officer to join the British Heart Foundation’s award-winning PR team. The successful candidate will support both corporate fundraising activity and also help promote BHF Shop campaigns to national and regional media. If you are a confident communicator who has proven experience of working in a busy press office, journalism or a PR agency we want to hear from you. You will have experience of managing media relations campaigns from the initial planning stage through to delivery and evaluation. You will also have the ability to draft compelling news releases, brief journalists and sell-in stories. This is a fabulous opportunity to join an enthusiastic team helping to beat heart disease.

Press Officer (2 year contract) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Press Officer to join the British Heart Foundation’s award-winning PR team. The successful candidate will provide PR support to the charity’s high profile corporate fundraising accounts. You will have proven experience of working in a not-for-profit role, busy press office, journalism or a PR agency. The role requires experience of managing media relations campaigns from the initial planning stage through to delivery and evaluation – therefore a strong understanding of the UK media is a must. You will also work closely with the Celebrity Manager to co-ordinate requests for celebrity support required for corporate partnerships.
