This is an exciting time for us as Symphony Housing Group is almost one year into a merger of two housing groups making us the largest housing organisation based solely in the North West. Now employing more than 1,000 staff across 10 organisations, we are working to transform neighbourhoods and local communities across the region.

A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Communications Manager to join our five-strong team that provide a one stop shop for marketing, communications and design for our member organisations across the North West.

The key tasks will include:
• Helping to coordinate the communications and marketing activities across a complex & diverse group
• Supervising the team which is based on two sites (Salford & Liverpool)
• Further developing the group wide communications network
• Assisting in the development of our social media strategy
• Extensive media and client liaison

Key attributes of the Assistant Communications Manager include:

• Relevant experience in PR, Marketing or Communications
• Self-motivated with a creative approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Talented writer

The job is a 12 month contract with the possibility of an extension. It will be based in both Salford and Liverpool with travel throughout the north west. The salary is £29,820 – £33,455 plus we offer a generous benefits package.
