The Global Communications Director will business-partner the Chief Research & Development Officer and will play a key role in developing an aligned global communications function, both internally and externally.

This is a prominent and diverse role where you will:

• Develop and implement a single communications strategy across the global R&D function;
• Improve the quality of internal communications to align the business and the vision;
• Help shape the global communications plan across all global R&D centres and
• Develop KPIs for global communications output and ensure delivery against them .

You will have an outstanding communications track record from within a large, global, innovation-driven business and have experience of engaging with the R&D function. Working closely with the scientfic community, your success will depend on your ability to influence and manage key stakeholders in a complex, global, matrix organisation. You will have extensive experience in leadership and internal communications and a track record of developing simple and clear messages out of complex information.
