The need has now come for an Associate to provide maternity cover on a one year contract. This will involve managing a team of seven highly motivated staff working on mobile start-ups and fast-growth technology companies. They are also looking for the ability to develop accounts strategically, up-sell and cross-sell, win more clients and develop people - the idea being that a successful contract could then lead on to more permanent work or future contracts in this fast expanding consultancy. Ideally, the candidate will be adept at working across both the b2b and consumer spheres of technology - someone who can organise analyst briefings as well as the launch of the latest mobile apps with exciting events tied to digital/ social media campaigns. Someone who has a strong appreciation of social media and has integrated it into previous campaigns.
To secure this exciting role, you must have PR consultancy experience to at least senior account director level, working on technology brands within the UK market. Consumer tech, telco, mobile, digital, b2b technology and hi-tech backgrounds are all of interest, but ideally you'll be able to demonstrate a breadth of experience across the technology space in general. You must be able to demonstrate a track record in team management and have some demonstrable experience in terms of growing and winning business. Salary:£60,000 to £85,000 depending on experience, plus negotiable package
