PR Account Director (or Senior AD) - Consumer Team Leadership
Here's a fantastic opportunity to join a well respected, highly rewarded and rapidly expanding consumer, corporate and b2b PR consultancy based in the heart of Central London. With an excellent culture and very high staff morale, their senior management team are well known in the PR industry for their insights and thought leadership on PR itself. Having expanded steadily this year, they are again looking to hire to service new business wins and to continue to their expansion into the consumer space in particular. To this end they are looking for an account director/ senior account director who has great consumer PR experience and a strong new business and team leadership record. This is to service some fantastic new accounts that include the parenting and beauty divisions of one of the world's largest supermarkets, retail and consumer tech/ gadget clients, and a luxury property client. With campaigns ranging across product launches and events, to soft corporate campaigns around brand identity, issues and senior executive profiling, its not a fluffy role. Rather, it would suit a creative thinker who has a handle on the latest issues within the media. And with corporate and b2b teams sitting right next to you, there's a lot of people to bounce ideas off, while the very strong social media credentials in the team means that you can see your campaigns blossom online as well and take an integrated approach. The other key focus will be new business, so you must be able to show a track record in sourcing and leading pitches for new business, and be someone who enjoys the thrill of the chase in this respect.
To secure this exciting role, you must have PR consultancy experience to at least account director level, working on consumer brands within the UK market. Beauty, luxury and consumer property or consumer finance backgrounds are all of interest, but ideally you'll be able to demonstrate a breadth of experience across the consumer space in general. You must be able to demonstrate a track record in both new business and team management. Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, plus negotiable package and great benefits
