Customer Security Comms Manager

We want our customers to be aware of the security risks that come with our products and services. Your task will be to explain them clearly, using O2 communications channels. The aim is to provide innovative, timely and easily understood advice that’s accessible to all. Your guidance will allow customers to make crucial choices about what action to take to protect themselves from security threats. What’s more, you’ll use your expertise to support our Bid Management team, helping them to win business. Your efforts will place Telefónica at the forefront of security education, influencing the industry’s thinking and contributing to wider security campaigns for consumers.
With a degree or equivalent experience in, you will be an organised professional who can design, plan and deliver communication projects and activities. You can manage monthly and weekly communications across a breadth of channels and you know how to get the most out of web 2.0 opportunities such as social media and blogs. Ideally you’ll also have experience of online, external communications, marketing and security issues – but this isn’t essential. We’re more interested in your excellent interpersonal skills; analytical abilities; team spirit; and high levels of integrity. Please note that this role involves some travel.
