This is a great opportunity in one of London's truly leading, high profile, rapidly expanding and multi-award winning consumer and b2b consultancies. Consistently topping the PR Week league tables, they are a highly sort after name-to-work-for and a prestigious addition to a CV, with accolades for their staff policies and learning and development programmes - as well as for the quality and originality of their creative work. Based in the heart of London in modern, impressive open-plan offices, they are now a medium-to-large agency and the atmosphere is buzzing with ideas from highly motivated teams.
They are now on the hunt for a senior account director or associate to join their consumer practice. They are looking for someone with experience across a broad spectrum of consumer areas, from retail and high street products, through consumer finance and soft corporate accounts, to the consumer side of government services. In addition, there is a high profile consumer technology blue chip account that will be a major focus of this role. The clients are looking for strategic, well thought-out and properly researched campaigns that change brand image. While product launches and media relations are of course important, this is not 'fluffy' PR - the consultancy has built its reputation on changing public perception. You'll be in a key position within the agency with a lot of responsibility, while at the same time your experience and background will be taken into consideration. If you have expertise in a particular area that could bring in new business - you'll be given the flexibility to pursue these accounts. Of course, at this level, new business will be an important aspect - and candidates with a track record of sourcing and securing new business wins, as well as growing existing accounts, will be favoured. There is a well established digital team for you to work alongside. While the whole team has training and coaching in social media use and best practice, these colleagues can build and design websites and programme applications, opening up the potential of your campaigns ideas into a whole host of digital and online channels to truly maximise effect and engagement.
To be considered for this brilliant opportunity, you must have a strong track record of working on consumer brand campaigns within the UK market to at least account director level. You must have line managed and motivated teams, been responsible for the financial management of campaigns (divisional responsibility would be ideal but non-essential) and have been reporting to the MD or board level. You'll be able to demonstrate long term strategic planning on accounts, as well as a new business track record - leading pitches. Salary £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience plus excellent benefits
