Key responsibilities include:
*Development, management and implementation of strategic marketing plan.
*Development, production and distribution of issue based thought leadership publications.
*Management of sponsorships for conferences and events.
*Management of third party relationships with industry bodies.
*Budget setting and control, including measurement and return on investment.
*Event strategy and execution.
*Online campaigns, web site, use of digital/social media.
Who we are looking for:
*A highly motivated individual with an ability to work within a team as well as on their own initiative. The successful candidate is likely to have 6 - 7 years experience working in a marketing role covering all aspects of the marketing mix. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders internally and across the business at all levels. You will have a strong track record in delivering campaigns and activity with measureable and demonstrable results and outcomes.
Qualifications, knowledge and skills required:
*Marketing/business studies graduate or professional (CIM qualified) with extensive years of business experience
*Good marketing planning and project planning capabilities
*Excellent writing and editing skills
*Networking and influencing capability
*Commercial acumen and negotiating skills
*Excellent project management, logistics and analytical skills
*Understanding of marketing discipline and Ernst & Young's business
*Excellent measurement capture and reporting skills
*Good knowledge/experience in Government
*Ensure the company's brand is expressed consistently through execution of Government and Public Sector Services marketing plan.
*Facilitate quality and risk management reviews and approvals.
*Ensure consistency of messages into the market.
*Develop a marketing plan that provides commercial, proactive and measurable marketing campaigns that contribute to building a positive reputation and helps achieve market leadership.
*Work with appropriate trade associations, think tanks or other appropriate bodies to enhance our profile.
*Work with the business to develop and roll-out thought leadership that demonstrates understanding of client issues.
*Become part of the Global Government network influencing key individuals to ensure outputs are appropriate or customised for the UK market & effectively leveraged.
*Work with our media relations team contact to identify opportunities for generating press coverage.
*Instil commercial approach to marketing activities, ensuring appropriate ROI.
*Develop relationships with sector leader(s) to ensure market needs are met and reported on appropriately.
