International Media Manager – Global Charity – c£35k + benefits – Central London
This leading international animal welfare organisation is seeking a top notch international media manager to help launch an impactful strategy to place animal welfare amongst the big global issues of the day.
Driving forward the organisation’s global media agenda you will be developing campaigns that have impact at global, national and regional levels. With a minimum of five years experience of working in a media relations role and at least two years working for a complex campaigning international organisation, you have a thorough understanding of international media and the role of media in advocacy campaigns. You will work well in a cross-functional team and under pressure of deadlines.
Skills required: strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade effectively and deliver convincing arguments; excellent networking and representation skills, including the ability to act as a spokesperson; partnership working and building good relations with internal departments and external stakeholders; strong written prowess; attention to detail and organisational skills.
Based in central London there will be some international travel and you may be on call outside normal office hours during key media/campaign events.
