Head of Internal Communication Channels
Working for a large blue chip, global business you will take responsibility for developing, managing and delivering a broad range of high profile, engaging internal communications across multi channels, both on and off line.
In addition to ensuring successful delivery of communications on the ground, you will also lead the strategic direction of the internal communications channel portfolio and the small team of four staff which support it.
This high performing business strives for excellence in all that it does and you will help drive first class performance, management and ongoing development of their internal communications channels.
On a daily basis you will be responsible for management of channels including an employee magazine, intranet, blogs, video, etc and in addition you will manage the relationship with the third party suppliers as required.
You will also manage the budget for all channel development and management, including in-house publications, the company intranet and development of new social media activity.
There is also a strong focus on content development and you will be expected to help write engaging content across all channels on behalf of senior executives and the management team.

To succeed in this exciting and demanding position you will need the following skills and attributes:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience of developing and delivering engaging communications, ideally in a corporate environment or as a professional journalist working for a high profile publication.
On and off line communications experience, including an interest and knowledge of new social media tools and techniques.
Significant experience of writing, editing and producing a variety of printed publications.
A significant background on managing the written content of publications either directly or via a team, you will also need a proven background in writing and publications management to be considered for this position.
An English/Creative Writing Degree, a qualification in Journalism or a career history with a very strong focus on writing is a minimum requirement.
