Public Relations Manager (News and Campaigns)
Temporary – Fixed-term, maternity cover contract for up to 1 year

Salary: £40,505 pro rata including London Weighting.
Location: London, WC1H 9NE
Hours: 36 per week
In this key role you will lead public relations activity for RNIB campaigns and policy, and manage RNIB's press office and PR information and evaluation function.
You will also manage the News and Campaigns PR team, directing its work within agreed objectives and signing off all news and campaigns press releases in line with agreed broad positioning messages and provide strategic public relations advice on public relations activities across the organisation, in order to increase brand awareness and engagement with RNIB.
You will need to will be able to provide public relations guidance for reputational incidents with high impact on RNIB, have a good news sense, know what makes a news story and more importantly how to get issues that matter to RNIB and it's members, campaigners and supporters on the news agenda.
