Vax is the UK’s best-selling floorcare brand and is part of TTi, the largest and fastest growing global floorcare group, With iconic brands that include Hoover, Dirt Devil and Vax, the TTI floorcare group leads the world in innovation and design.
With a growing international footprint – including France, Germany and Italy – and the number of brands and categories in which Vax operates, we are looking for a PR expert to join the senior team and share the challenge of driving Vax and its other brands forward both in the UK and Internationally.
The role requires a self-starter who is equally at home working with bloggers, senior management and national media and who can set the agenda for PR at Vax, while also developing our social media presence further.
Reporting to the Vax Marketing Director you will have the opportunity to develop PR at Vax and our other UK brands and to take it to the next level, while also acting as a key counsellor to our overseas operations.
The successful candidate will be degree educated (2:1) with experience of working with PR with established relationships with UK national journalists. Demonstrable understanding of how marketing strategies and PR are used to maximise results is essential, as is experience of using and developing social media to promote brands. Additionally we are keen to hear from individuals who have fluency in other European languages.
