The marketing and communications team at this leading housing group are looking for two enthusiastic and hard working people to join the team. We’re looking for a communications officer and a web and digital communications officer.

About the marketing and communications team…
The marketing and communications team at East Thames are responsible for communicating to residents and customers through regular publications, web, public relations and events. The team is also responsible for media work, stakeholder relations and communicating to the group’s 800+ staff.

Communications Officer
£26,592 - £29,010 per annum
35 Hours per Week
Stratford, London E15

We are looking for a strong writer with an ability to track down a good story to join the team as our communications officer.
You will be responsible for producing a variety of written and online information, including quarterly resident newsletter, staff bulletins and web news.
In addition you’ll be involved with writing press releases and coordinating press launches; writing case studies about our customers; writing articles for our websites; and writing a range of promotional literature such as fact sheets and brochures.

It’s important for you to be an excellent writer, but we also need someone who can find a good story, which means you’ll be inquisitive, prone to asking lots of questions and happy to work with a wide group of people within the organisation and beyond.
Being in a communications team it is imperative that you have excellent written communication skills and we’ll be expecting you to be able to work well independently and within a team.
