Programme Functional Communications Co-Ordinator

This role is to work with the global programme functional business change leads, the global programme communications lead and the BAU functional communications managers to assess the programme functional change and map and plan for communications and engagement activities at key points on the delivery plan. To create a communications and engagement plan for the functions which is iterative. To work with the communications lead and BAU communications managers on writing and delivering communications as required. To work with the wider Programme Communications Team on ensuring that change and communications is managed in to the functions at Group, Regional and Local level. Requires project management capabilities and the ability to understand process and operational changes in order to determine how stakeholders and end users will be impacted.
The primary aim is to build engagement and understanding across global functions for the changes this major global program will deliver
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage internal communications and engagement plans to the functions
oMapping and planning
oMessaging, timing, frequency, channels, tools, and templates
oSupport BAU function internal communication managers in delivering communications around change
oStakeholder action plan
oReporting
oEnsure and monitor effective implementation of communications and engagement
oWork on own initiative
oWriting skills
Manage and ensure execution of plans
oResponsible for all parts: planning, channel management and writing communications for online and offline channels
Act as advisor to internal clients
oRegularly review progress with clients
oAgree and review key messages and ensure they are in line with the Group's key messages and business priorities
Assist the Communications Lead with bigger projects and work requests
Be a team player and facilitate an environment of openness, transparency and pro-active sharing
Experience
Internal Communications professional with experience in comparable internal communications roles
oDemonstrable history of internal communications project management
oStrong experience of managing Internal Communications through a variety of channels to large audience groups in diverse locations
Good knowledge of communications good practice, including channels, tools, message development and measurement, with ability to innovate and implement new ideas
Ability to understand how internal communication project activities need to integrate with all other communication and corporate activities
Flexibility, and ability to adjust to change and constantly changing work requests, clients and environments
MS-Project proficiency is desirable
Credible in stakeholder management, relationship building and ability to manage demanding and challenging clients
Excellent and proven team work skills
oCollaborative approach to teamwork imperative
Ability to prioritise and work unsupervised where applicable
High quality written and verbal communication skills in fluent English
