A fantastic opportunity to join a high profile healthcare charity as their Celebrity Manager.
The Celebrity Manager will develop and implement the charity’s celebrity engagement strategy with the aim of growing their network of celebrity supporters. You will work closely with celebrities and their agents to endorse key charity activity in relation to PR, marketing and fundraising.
You will build relationships with existing celebrity supporters, ensuring they remain engaged and committed to the charity, as well as work closely with agents, the media and corporate sponsors to secure new celebrities.
To be considered for this unique opportunity you will have: -
Significant experience and of securing and developing high profile relationships with celebrities, agents and VIP supporters
Experience of networking to secure new supporters
Experience in Media Relations – ideally gained in another celebrity management role
The ability to lead on and execute a charity-wide strategy for celebrity supporter development and engagement meeting multiple stakeholder needs
The ability to understand the needs and interests of celebrity and VIP supporters in order to develop and strengthen their relationship with the charity
An understanding of how agents and celebrities interact with charities
An understanding of media relations and reputation management and fundraising practices
A proven track record of working with celebrities/agents in a charity capacity
