As Interim Press Officer you will respond to media enquiries, new articles, Government announcements and other external events were appropriate.
You will develop and maintain good working relationships with key media contacts and when necessary produce media briefings for spokespeople of the organisation including the Chief Executive, Directors and other senior staff.
On a day to day you will be expected to monitor the media, contribute to crisis media management and participate in an out-of-hours on call media service.
Finally identifying newsworthy stories and working with colleagues to provide analysis of media and public relation needs and opportunities will be essential.
Pharmaceutical industry or health policy experience would be desirable.
