Role
To support the implementation of the marketing strategy for the Assurance and Tax service lines, to build profile and new business opportunities on a One Firm basis.
Responsibilities
Marketing
* supports the implementation of the marketing strategy for Assurance and Tax
* builds strong understanding of the service offerings, key strategic themes and related commercial opportunities for these service lines at any given time
* forms links with other service lines, sector and market teams to avoid 'silo' activity
* support in delivery of regular FD email update and management of strategic and technical events
* project manages specified activity and campaigns, contributing from inception to completion and measurement
* Manages relevant third party relationships/ strategic partners - e.g. digital/creative agencies
* ensures appropriate co-ordination with digital team, internal comms and PR to ensure best use of channels
* delivers effective internal communications around initiatives to ensure take-up and appropriate usage on the ground
* where required manages the intranet development and ensures best use of the internet in marketing initiatives and input into the delivery of the new external microsite
* supports the marketing manager on activities to improve communication with Marketing & BD team, key stakeholders on progress of activity
Business Development
* ensures appropriate linkages to the BD teams (London and Regions) on the back of marketing initiative
* acts as an 'ambassador' of the firm demonstrating knowledge of the companies products and services as well as sector/industry understanding
Clients
* supports and champions the firm's client care and client satisfaction programmes
* reviews relevant client satisfaction reports for audit and tax, to build understanding of issues or opportunities
* undertakes other duties or responsibilities that may be reasonably required from time to time
Education and Qualifications
Essential
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Desirable
CIM Diploma or appropriate equivalent qualification
Experience
Essential
Marketing/ business development experience required
Experience of managing marketing programmes from content development to implementation
Strong communication and influencing skills
Strong project management experience, specifically marketing programmes
Experience of managing own time and completing multiple tasks/assignments with potentially competing deadlines
Experience / working knowledge of MS Excel and Word, Internet and email
