PR Executive, £18000-24000, Cheshire, Business Services
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PR professional to join an in-house PR team with a highly successful and rapidly expanding IT solutions business. Reporting into the PR Manager, the successful candidate will be assisting with the implementation and delivery of the PR strategy and campaigns
Responsibilities include:
- Copywriting press releases, case studies, the internal staff newsletter etc.
- Press release distribution using Cision
- Media relations
- Writing award entries
- Results tracking
- Day-to-day administration
- Selling-in exclusives
- Helping to organise press events
- Supporting the marketing team on an ad hoc basis
The ideal candidate will have solid in-house or agency PR experience, excellent copywriting and communication skills and will be capable of working to tight deadlines. They must also be well-organised, willing to travel to other offices and capable of working in a small PR team. Experience of IT PR and contacts in the IT, finance and health press would be an advantage but is not essential.
