We have a great new in-house position within a not for profit (NFP) organisation, they are seeking a interim Communications Officer - the role initially is for 6 months however will possible extend to 12 months. The Role
A temporary communications officer is required for an immediate start. The purpose of the role will be to develop and deliver communications plans and projects and to respond to issues and opportunities that arise. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing proactive and reactive media relations;
- Managing and delivering print projects.
- Internal and external comms
- Approving copy and writing newsletters
- Developing stakeholder publications
- Using social media such as facebook & twitter
- Managing leading events
Ideally you will be available to start within a months notice the sooner the better! You will have good media relations and the ability to manage journalist, you will have both internal and external comms skills and excellent writing skils. Most sectors will be considered what they are seeking is a passionate and professional communications officer.
