A nationwide multifaceted organisation is seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer to join their Corporate Affairs team. You will play a huge part in delivering and achieving maximum positive publicity for the organisation on a corporate level whilst also managing the overall reputation of the business and particularly focussing on strategic and tactical PR.
Responsibilities include developing and delivering PR advice and guidance to colleagues, providing strategic and creative PR support and implementing a proactive communications programme for all business areas (including annual PR plans and campaigns). In addition you will be responsible for handling media enquiries (positive, negative, and sensitive), developing and delivering internal communications activity, researching and writing copy for a wide range of audiences, arranging presentations and promotional activity, attending events and identifying opportunities with journalists, third parties and stakeholders.
As an experienced PR person, you will have at least three to five years industry experience as an in-house or agency PR Officer, be a superb communicator - written, verbal and face-to-face, able to liaise and communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues on all levels and demonstrate a confident yet approachable approach to your work.
