Following a recent restructure, a new business division has been created within this organisation and it now needs someone with your expertise to set up from scratch a professional, robust and engaging internal communications framework. You will also be responsible for developing IC strategy, planning, channels and anything else you think the business needs!
You will also need to provide advice and direction to the leadership team.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with the right level of experience and confidence and these opportunities don't come along often. This is a greenfield opportunity within a larger organisation.
This is a varied position, with significant opportunity to input your communications expertise, as well as developing your strategic, delivery and channel experience within a global environment.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Developing and deploying internal communication strategies and plans for a specific business
Developing and deploying effective internal communication plans, change programs and campaigns to support business priorities and go-to-market activities.
Act as trusted advisor to leaders and their immediate teams regarding internal communications support.
Manage a range of leadership internal communication activities (editorial, intranet, video, social media, face-to-face and events).
Oversee the running of busy news calendars, writing bulletins, newsflashes and executive announcements.
Skills and experience required includes:
Significant internal communications, including strategy, plannng, channel development and management etc.
Excellent writing skills and ability to understand and simplify complex ideas quickly.
Confidence dealing with senior leaders, with an ability to act as a trusted advisor.
Good project management skills.
Flexible and able to deal with rapidly changing situations.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
