Internal Communications Manager - Charity
We’re seeking a Internal Communications Manager for a leading Charity/NFP organisation. You will have a proven track record of delivering communications that make a difference to those around you and will now be looking for a great new challenge and the next step in your Communications career.
As an Internal Communications specialist you will support the development and delivery of an internal communication strategy and campaigns across the business, managing communications channels, approaches and events that result in an informed, aligned and engaged employee group. It is a unique opportunity to work for a company, which positions internal communications at the centre of its business, driving performance though a truly engaged work force. Working with a variety of channels you will shape and deliver messages to employees in the UK. Leading the internal communications strategy for the business at an exciting time in its development, you will develop, deliver and manage internal communications which support a broad spectrum of business goals and initiatives.
Your internal communications will support an exciting mix of programmes, including the direct achievement of business goals, corporate change programmes, HR initiatives, the CSR agenda and multiple, everyday internal communications campaigns. Specifically you will also support the planned growth of this charity, taking into account the need to amend your internal communications support, to a growing, multicultural workforce.
You will need to demonstrate an extensive communications background; experience of supporting cultural and organisational change in large, complex, diverse organisations; a high level of experience gained from working in a strategic internal communications role; the ability to understand and communicate key strategic messages to different audiences and the ability to influence and manage high-level stakeholder relationships. Most backgrounds will be considered – the most important skill is your strength within internal communications.
In return they will offer a base of £34K, plus excellent benefits including 27 days holiday.
