Reporting to the Communications Manager, play a key role in the launch of a national initiative, supporting in the creation and roll out of wide ranging communications programmes to diverse stakeholders across the business community.
The Communications Specialist will enjoy a wide remit, producing engaging copy for a variety of communications channels both print and online; providing guidance to regional colleagues while helping to implement the brand and communications guideline, advising senior spokespeople, supporting on events and working closely with agencies and contractors across the UK. A confident self-starter with sound judgement, practised at working in a pressurised and fast changing environment under your own initiative, you’ll be well placed to balance competing priorities and demands. A talent for project management and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, and you’ll have the confidence to brief and advise at all levels.
As Digital Communications Specialist, you'll be responsible for producing a range of online communications and engagement channels including websites, blogs, community engagement platforms, e-newsletters and webcasts, while establishing good practice for online communications across the project and working closely with partner organisations and stakeholders, as well as agencies and contractors. A confident, creative self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise and juggle a diverse workload, you’ll demonstrate a track record in producing innovative digital communications channels along with a talent for writing, basic content development skills and knowledge of CMS.
