Internal Communications Business Partner - Technology and Innovation


Consumer Brand within the Financial Services Sector is looking for a project driven Communications Manager to partner Senior Leaders.

The IT division and innovation teams are working constantly to provide new and exciting services to both business clients and everyday consumers. The Communications Manager chosen will drive communications across this, the fastest growing part of the business by:


-Developing plans to communicate the overarching business strategy to employees
-Working with and coach senior stakeholders to ensure employees are kept informed and engaged throughout this period of change
-Developing, managing and implementing communications plans to ensure the wider business is aware of the successes and new propositions developing from the technology area
-Leading communications campaigns to ensure the wider business is clear on what technology advances mean for them and their teams
-Developing strong relationships with senior divisional management to advise on communications best practice and evolve the communications plans
-Validating communications with corporate communication to ensure alignment of key messages
-Ensuring the division's communication channels are fit for purpose and recommending any necessary improvements
-Thinking commercially so that all communications are evaluated against their objectives

This is perfect for a Communications Manager with:

-Extensive Internal communications experience (rather than generalist communications)
-A history of channel management and experience of business partnering executive level stakeholders
-Experience of communications planning and delivery
-Project Management skills who is strongly focused on delivery
-Experience in working in a matrix organisation, balancing multiple stakeholder requirements
-An understanding and experience of managing multiple communication channels
-Experience of producing digital content within a Content Management System
-Able to balance and re-prioritise workload in a busy and sometimes pressured environment
