Head of Social Media
Working with key stakeholders across the company, you will create and deliver the social media communications strategy. So you will understand how to create engaging social media campaigns that bring Vodafone to life for our customers, the wider public and other specific audiences.
We’re looking for an experienced individual who understands commercial and corporate strategies - someone who enjoys influencing and collaborating with senior executives across a fast paced business, and who knows how to produce communications plans that add value to the business. We want someone who can motivate and develop the skills of their colleagues – that’s people both in your own team and across other areas of the business.
You will report to the Director of Corporate Communications, and work with him to evaluate social media communications channels. You will provide tactical support to the rest of the corporate communications team too, and will play a full role as a senior manager within that team.
We want to recruit someone who enjoys working through complex challenges to find the best, simplest and most engaging solutions.
Vodafone is the world’s largest mobile telecommunications company, and Vodafone UK is where the mobile telephone industry began. You will be based in Newbury, in Berkshire, but you will be able to spend part of your time in London. While you will need to be a visible presence as a leader, we are more interested in what you do than where you do it.
