Digital Communications Specialist - Internal Comms
Based M3 Corridor (Surrey, Middlesex)
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Digital Communications professional to join a hugely successful global organization. Working at the centre of this organization you will help shape internal communications which make a real difference to the success of this growing business.
Specifically you will focus on the development of digital communications and internal communications, building new ways of communicating and engaging with staff above and beyond traditional channels.
As this business expands around the globe it wishes to embrace the latest digital technologies and ideas, to ensure its communication reach expands at the same time as its business, without impacting on engagement levels.
Twitter, Facebook, Yammer, Video, Corporate Blogs, SMS, Intranet and everything else you can think of! You will develop, implement and manage a full spectrum of digital channels, creating conversation, not just delivering communication.
This is a great opportunity to build a digital IC strategy from scratch, within a business that is hungry for communications.
Your internal communications experience and ideas will be used to support a variety of business campaigns, including the communication of corporate goals, business targets, CSR initiatives, employee value campaigns, HR programmes, change projects and much more. This is a varied role, where every day will be different, providing an interesting mix of challenges and opportunities.
CSR is also a key area of focus for this business and your digital internal communications support will help facilitate employee engagement across the business in this area.
With employees working in multiple locations you will need to consider how to reach a varied and dispersed workforce.

To succeed in this role you will need a strong digital communications background and a proven track record of delivering successful digital communication strategies and campaigns, ideally for large, complex organizations.
You will have significant experience of developing, managing and implementing digital communication channels, ideally within a corporate environment.
Ideally you will have a strong internal communications background, which includes significant digital experience.
Ideally you will be degree educated with qualifications in a relevant subject area, including communications, marketing, PR etc.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience of providing internal communication and digital advice and counsel to business leaders.
You must be comfortable influencing and challenging Senior Executives and Directors
