An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join St Clare Hospice as Communications Manager to raise awareness of our services, cause and brand as we head toward our 25th Anniversary.
Based at the Hospice in Hastingwood, and reporting into the Director of Fundraising & Marketing, the role is broad and challenging.
You will be responsible for integrated communication campaigns to ensure effective communication is made with the charity’s supporters, patients and their families. The role will also be charged with raising hospice awareness through creative communication and PR campaigns and generating news coverage (TV, press, radio) as well as print media.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the further development of the social media strategy and driving the development of a new website.
The successful applicant will have previous communications and PR experience ideally within a charity environment and be able to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, a track record of successful media campaigns and an understanding of the hospice ethos and how it should be promoted.
