Dynamic, growing corporate team with Energy & Industrials focus needs an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager
Account Manager or Senior Account Manager / Corporate / Central London
This role sits within a small specialist core team of around 12 people working closely with clients operating in the energy and industrials sector – energy, environment, transportation, infrastructure, green power, mining and utilities are just some of the key areas in which this team works. The work has both a UK and an international focus, so offers constant variety and challenge.
You’ll be a corporate communications practitioner well-versed in consultancy life; an analytical and strategic thinker with a love of communications and issues management but coupled, as you might expect, with a demonstrable interest in the energy and/or industrials sector, whether in shipping, aviation, transportation, infrastructure, railways and so on. Experience handling corporate reputation campaigns within the sustainability sector would be useful. And, if you have any political stakeholder or public affairs experience that would be a significant advantage too. In any event, you’ll have an awareness of the political landscape and how energy issues are impacting policy and vice versa.
Your high energy, good attention to detail and self-motivation are all evident in the quality of your work. You’ll be keen to spot (and develop) new business opportunities, will be a team player and a self-starter too with the presence to manage bright junior team members as you settle in to your role. Evidence of developing strong client/budget management skills and a passion for developing lasting client relationships are must-haves.
