An international leading children’s charity requires a brand and marketing professional to come in and deliver effective communications planning, both in the UK and internationally, in order to deliver their overarching marketing and communications strategy.
As direct support to the Head of Marketing Communications you will be driving forwards the overall shape of the charities marketing and communications strategy. You will act as Account Manager to ‘internal clients’ to access their business needs and oversee the development of their communications plans as well as working with external agencies to develop new strategies. As brand protector you will be responsible for ensuring the brand is positioned and reflected in the correct way through communications. The role acts as a group function role that oversees all the strands of the charities communications.
The ideal candidate will have had 5 years marketing or PR experience. It is essential that you have had brand marketing experience and have acted as a brand guardian from both the visual and content side. You must have good project management skills and have had experience of developing and managing budgets. Confidence in operating in a large organisation and excellent strategic thinking and planning skills are a necessity. Previous experience in the charity sector is not compulsory but a dedication to young people’s rights and welfare is essential.
