Press Officer - In House - Sport & Leisure - North London - to £29,000 + Great Benefits
My client runs award winning open spaces and sports venues with the duty to develop and preserve leisure, recreation, sport and nature throughout London & the home counties. They are responsible for creating zones of sporting excellence which includes centres for athletics, horse riding, ice skating, sailing and golf.
My client is seeking a creative Press Officer to take their media relations to the next level; managing and implementing high profile and effective PR campaigns for their diverse range of venues and open spaces, activities, events and initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Communications Officer, you will have a strong record of securing media coverage and be responsible for selling in compelling stories from across their wide range of activities.
The successful candidate will be
- Skilled in making new media contacts; assessing who and where to target
- Experienced in implementing effective PR campaigns
- An excellent communicator with sound writing and editing skills
- A problem solver, tenacious, highly organised and able to juggle priorities
In return for your talents and endeavour my client offers a competitive basic salary of up to £29,000 dependant on experience plus a great range of benefits.
