Cannock Chase Council takes communications seriously; our aim is to protect and enhance the Council’s reputation through the active delivery of the Communications Strategy, ensuring all communications are targeted appropriately and their effectiveness constantly evaluated and improved.
With experience of using a wide variety of communications tools such as; social media, intranet, internet, notice boards, blogs, magazines and video, we are looking for someone who is willing to provide excellent customer service and is motivated to improve and develop the service.
You will also be our front line contact for the Press and will need to sometimes work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
It is expected that you have a degree in a discipline relevant to the activities of the post.
