Our client, a fast growing and award-winning PR agency is looking to recruit a talented and experience Digital Account Director to join the dedicated Digital arm of the agency.
The role is essentially to provide creative digital thought leadership to help guide clients in the digital space. This will involve working alongside an offline team to deliver successful digital campaigns, being responsible for taking care of existing current clients, maintaining client business and nurturing the relationships to grow the agency. Your responsibilities will also include writing proposals, leading new business pitches and developing junior team members. While you will be working with the wider integrated PR teams across the group, you will be taking the lead on Social and Digital work within broader PR campaigns.
The ideal Account Director will have a strong background in a digital, creative or PR agency with significant social media experience. You will possess strong client services skills, have strong negotiation skills with a track record of leadership and mentoring. You must possess the ability to lead new business opportunities from brief to pitch, developing strategy and creative tactics. It is also essential that you demonstrate a solid understanding of the broader marketing mix and have experience running successful social media and community management campaigns for clients.
