This is an opening for a PR Account Manager to join a well-established marketing communications agency based on the outskirts of Manchester.
With teams in PR, marketing, brand, design and print, and digital, they are focused on creating high-quality work for their clients, which include professional services, property, education, leisure, retail, public sector, and more.
As PR Account Manager, you'll be reporting to a client director, managing a portfolio of clients from the B2B and public sector arenas. The Account Manager role will involve content generation, including writing press releases and blogs, and media relations planning and implementation. You'll also be responsible for PR programme, planning, client liaison and reporting, time manager, and issues management.
The ideal candidate will have around 2 - 3 years' experience of working within a PR agency or PR department, with strong understanding of digital PR and social media. Experience within the B2B sectors would be ideal, and excellent writing skills across all mediums are essential.
You should have great organisational and IT skills, be a team player, and be willing to go the extra mile. It goes without saying that you should be a pleasant and friendly individual, with excellent client-facing skills, and who will fit in well with the team.
