This is an exceptional opportunity to work for a progressive and successful PR agency based in the heart of Manchester. You will be joining an extremely successful team servicing an interesting section of clients in the business to business sector. This is a key role where you will liaise regularly with the media and clients ensuring strong working relationships are maintained.
Your role will involve drafting press releases, media liaison and organisation of events and photo-calls. You will ideally have a very sound grounding in business to business/corporate PR coupled with effective time management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. Previous experience gained in an agency would be preferred but is not entirely essential so long as you can demonstrate the right attitude and have acquired your PR experience to date in a B2B environment.
To be considered for this role you must be very hands on, willing to learn, have exceptionally good writing skills, ooze energy and enthusiasm, be a team player and a self starter. It is essential that you have gained at least twelve months business to business related PR experience coupled with knowledge of writing for a wide range of copy (press releases, case studies, features or news stories). You will also be competent in liaising with journalists and during your experience to date have developed both on and off line PR campaigns.
