This is an opportunity to work for a progressive and niche PR and marketing consultancy based on the outskirts of Manchester. You will be joining an extremely successful team servicing clients in the leisure, travel and consumer related sectors.
This is a key role where you will liaise regularly with the media on a local and national basis as well as maintaining strong working relationships with your clients. Your role will involve drafting press releases, media liaison and organisation of the organisation and delivery of prestigious events and press visits.
You will have a very sound grounding in consumer or related PR coupled with effective time management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. It is very important that you have acquired around 12 month's PR or marketing related experience with a strong bias towards the leisure, travel or consumer sectors. It is also vital that you have gained experience of handling prestigious events & writing press releases/editorial for various forms of media, as well organising press trips for journalists.
