Our client is a top award winning B2B Technology PR & Marketing Consultancy who serves clients at the leading edge of business, from private start-ups to quoted global leaders. They are now looking to hire a PR Account Director to work predominantly with clients across the medical technologies and devices sector.
The PR Account Director will be managing 4 existing client accounts, one of which is an International drug and alcohol screening company, as well as a medical company that is developing innovative technologies including thermo graphic breast screening, glaucoma treatment, tissue regeneration etc. There are also two further new client accounts, one that has developed cognitive testing techniques to identify the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and another that has developed neuro-muscular electrical impulse technology for the sports industry.
As well as being able to quickly get to grips with sophisticated technologies, the ideal candidate will have a mature understanding of the structures of the NHS and an understanding of civil and political issues.
The working environment is non-hierarchical and this position would suit someone who has an enquiring mind and sense of excellence, who wants to rapidly develop and learn by working closely with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals.
You will be educated to degree or postgraduate level, having achieved at least a 2:1 grade.
You will ideally have a minimum of 4 years' PR communications experience, gained within Technology/Healthcare or NHS sectors.
Salary £50k - £60k, plus bonus, excellent benefits, includes healthcare, gym membership, laptop, mobile phone etc.
