Senior PR Account Director
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior PR Account Director to join an established agency in Birmingham, to work on new and existing accounts. This is a superb opportunity for a proven Senior PR Account Director or an exceptional PR Account Director looking to take the next step in their career.
This exciting role would suit someone with exceptional writing skills and a vast amount of experience of working on both B2B and B2C accounts. You must not be afraid to get stuck in and tell clients how it is, as my client is known for its honest and successful reputation! You should have strong media relations on both a local and national basis, have the ability to plan, recommend and manage social media for clients, and be able to create and implement a wide range of bespoke PR campaigns and strategies. As one of the most senior members of staff in the team, people management skills are essential, as is the ability to guide and motivate other account staff.
As a person, you will be highly organised, with excellent interpersonal / presentation skills and the ability to bring lots of enthusiasm, new ideas and energy to the agency. You must also be able to work as part of a team, but individually when required. You will have a minimum of 6 years' agency experience, strong communication skills, the ability to hit the ground running with current and new accounts, and will be able to assist in pitching for new business if required.
