Corporate Director to run portfolio of big-name clients and grow practice.
This multi-practice consultancy has an exceptional reputation in the industry and has, to its credit, won some of the highest-profile new business pitches of 2012, against some very tough competition. As part of its next phase of growth and as a result of some group-wide changes, the company is in a position to hire a Board-level Corporate specialist to run a portfolio of big name clients and continue to build the client base. The team is relatively compact but well-established and already delivers exceptional work across a range of clients, all blue-chip brands.
It’s a critical role and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong team management skills, the ability to build long-lasting client relationships and commercial nous. You’ll need a track record in the delivery of high-level media relations, crisis and issues management and CEO profiling and support. It’s likely that you’ll currently be in an agency but it would be a real bonus too if you’d also worked in house and could bring that unique client-side perspective.
New business skills at this level should be a given but, to drive the point home, you will be expected to generate leads through your own networking skills and convert them into retained clients.
It’s a highly supportive culture, a grown-up environment and a rare opportunity in the current market to take a perfectly good practice and turn it into a brilliant one.
