Nordoff Robbins is a leading national music charity dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and adults across the UK.
We are looking for a new PR Executive to provide support to the Head of Communications and manage the daily running of the press office. This person will be responsible for creating and growing awareness of Nordoff Robbins and music therapy.
Summary of Responsibilities
In addition to managing the press office and acting as first point of contact for all incoming media calls, your responsibilities will also include assisting with PR at events, initiating creative ideas and generating coverage for projects, building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts, maintaining the website and publishing departmental reports and other charity materials.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive candidate with some PR and / or Communications experience. You must be a good writer and a confident communicator who is comfortable building relationships at all levels with internal colleagues and external contacts. Experience of working within the charity sector is desirable.
