If you’re a motivated and ambitious editorial assistant that'd revel in the chance to support the creation and distribution of news across a large global organisation in the heart of financial sector, then this business has the role for you.
You’d be expected to provide high level editorial planning, production and administration for the businesses’ global news team, creating a steady flow of engaging content for their external facing website, across their emerging market community, and via their internal Intranet.
Planning is key, as you'd be managing the content pipeline for a global team, while building relationships with internal stakeholders and external services to develop a full calendar of economic, political and other relevant news events. Keeping an eye on opportunities for the cross-promotion of content across different platforms, and coordinating measurement reports to plan future content, will also be key to your success in the role.
You'll also be on hand to support the other editorial and video content teams, organising locations, logistics and guests for segment producers, while supporting the global news team in the day to day delivery of their global news agenda across this financial heavyweight.
Key experience and qualifications
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and co-ordinate a varied and demanding workload.
- Strong communications skills, written and verbal.
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Proven project management skills.
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent PC and database skills.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced and high-profile environment.
- Passion for news journalism and desire to learn about multimedia production.
- Team player essential.
