Press & Public Affairs Manager - Housing

c £45,000 + good bens

A thought leader in its sector, this dynamic social enterprise seeks a manager who combines political acumen with an outstanding PR and public affairs track record, someone who will user their strategic leadership to deliver effective engagement, dissemination and stakeholder management programmes with the support of a talented, driven team.

An expert in reputation management, you'll demonstrate a track record in generating coverage across national, local and specialist trade media, and your writing talents will bring clarity to complex policy areas.

Drawing on your knowledge of both local and central government, ideally – but not necessarily – gained in a housing or development context, you will lead the processes to manage stakeholder relationships strategically, and line manage the internal communications function. Skilled at negotiation and persuasion, you will offer expert advice to senior management on the best approaches to meet objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, this is a key new managerial position within a dynamic Communications Team.  At a time when housing tops both the consumer and political agenda, this promises to be a challenging and rewarding role.
