In this role you will be responsible for managing media relationships and contributing to campaign strategy and communications output. Your responsibility will be to deliver media coverage around public corporate partnerships as well as participate in new corporate business pitches. You will lead and deliver on all media activity on campaigns and coordinating the communications team. You will also work with colleagues to carry out media and digital coverage for senior members of the charity. You will be the main contact for specific fundraising projects and to external partners.
This position will develop your external communications skills further as you will lead and deliver field trips with UK media, work as the charity's spokesperson when needed, and manage important senior media relationships.
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional background as working as the lead contact for journalists, stakeholders and partner. You should be educated to degree standard, or equivalent, and will have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing media strategies and securing coverage. In addition you should have proven experience in media work for campaigning, fundraising and events. You will have a natural ability to build relationships with colleagues and others.
