You will manage a leading PR agency, as well as a team of experienced internal communications specialists; with the opportunity to hire a new web/social media expert. You will regularly have direct CXO level contact, as you will be responsible for advising and managing their profile to both internal and external audiences.
As the UK Head of Communications you will have both solid press liaison, analyst and internal communications experience. You are likely to be degree qualified and or have significant experience in this field. You should also be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the Technology and Services marketplace. Understand how to develop and run strategic messaging and positioning campaigns. Possess excellent writing skills as well as the ability to write presentations that leverage our key PR initiatives. You will be working with a wider marketing team both at a wider Group and UK level, who will also assist you with messaging and content. We are a dynamic team who realise that this role is crucial to our overall success.
- Ensuring corporate brand identity is maintained in all marketing activities
- Leading internal and external communication material
- Excellent knowledge of Social Media
- Broad Understanding of IT
- Public Sector background advantageous
This is a role that would suit someone who has a wealth of experience within a Marketing/Communications background, good understanding of Public or Private sector and broad knowledge of IT. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and really drive forward Steria’s message into the market. You will need to have a strong Social Media background and be able to drive and shape Steria’s vision.
The successful candidates will be required to obtain security clearance to SC level.
