A highly successful, leading business-to-business organisation is looking for a new PR Manager to capitalise on their success and raise the profile of the Company. This is superb role and a great opportunity to head up the PR function, grow the business and to work on large, multi-million pound contracts with clients and partners.
You will be primarily responsible for developing, managing and delivering a planned programme of profile-raising communication to meet planned objectives, driving traffic to the Company website through SEO and social media platforms and sharing the ‘story and organisation successes’ in an engaging, interesting and stimulating way to target media, prospective clients and community groups. This will involve building strong relationships with colleagues, and externally, being confident to interview a wide range of staff. You will also take responsibility for all Social Media, therefore it is essential that you understand the benefit of this to a b2b organisation.
As a person, you will be a self-starter, confident yet personable and approachable and able to juggle many projects at one time. It is essential that you have superb interaction / communication skills, so that you are able to liaise with internal teams & external companies and gather relevant and important industry information and goes without saying that your writing ability will also be to a very high standard. In addition, you will have already built up strong media relations, (local and regional), have had experience in working with specific trade publications, and written for various channels including news, features, press releases, social media, testimonials, website and internal/external newsletters to a wide and varied audience.
The ideal applicant will be someone with business to business experience (in particular from the building, construction, architectural, manufacturing sectors), and would suit a dynamic, passionate PR professional who has solid writing and media skills who is able to lead and manage a PR strategy.
