This successful independent B2B PR consultancy is looking for a PR Account Manager to join their growing team. This well-established agency works with a number of reputable national and international brands, and needs an experienced PR Account Manager to work within their account team.
As PR Account Manager, you will be working on and managing a portfolio of clients, working with the junior members of the team. Within this role, you will be supervising media relations, acting as client liaison, proactively selling ideas and features to clients and media, supervising and arranging press events, undertaking project and team management, handling project proposal development, and reporting to the client on project implementation. Additionally, you will ensure excellent administration of client activities, demonstrate effective delegation, supervise and assist junior staff, ensure high quality of work, participate in brainstorms, and get involved in new business development.
To be considered for this role, you will need at least three years’ B2B PR experience, preferably gained within an agency environment, and ideally within similar sectors. Required qualities include excellent writing and communication skills, experience in the day-to-day running of client accounts, the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, experience of managing budgets, great attention to detail and presentation skills, fantastic team management skills, and the ability to work and think both independently and within the team. Most importantly, however, you should be friendly, outgoing, diligent, enthusiastic, and passionate about developing your career in B2B PR!
