PR Account Manager
My client, an independent, full-service B2B PR and marketing communications consultancy, is looking for an experienced and multilingual PR Account Manager, to work within their successful team with clients both in the UK and overseas.
As PR Account Manager, you will be planning, organising and controlling day-to-day work on a range of client accounts, writing for press releases, features, and proposals, reporting and presenting, maintaining close relationships with clients, understanding client objectives and evaluating these objectives both strategically and tactically, developing good relationships with media, motivating and leading a team, and monitoring the work of junior team members. Importantly, you will be using your relevant language(s), both written and spoken, on a regular basis in a business context, and will be required to travel to attend client meetings and exhibitions.
As a person, you must be fluent in another language, preferably Dutch, Polish, or Swedish; you should have at least three years’ experience of marketing in an agency environment, and at least one year’s experience of operating at Account Manager level. You must be able to demonstrate excellent writing, reporting, presentation, and project management skills; you will also be expected to build and maintain knowledge of production procedures, terminology, and issues pertaining to the relevant industries and sectors. You should have commercial skills, team management and leadership ability, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
