Account Manager – Energy & Industrial

Our client, a leading global multi-sector consultancy, is developing a hub of excellence across all areas of the energy sector – working across traditional energy, renewable energy, power and utilities, mining, transport and infrastructure. They are looking to recruit an exceptional Account Manager/Senior Account Manager with a flair for managing work across multiple accounts and who has a good understanding of the interaction between the energy policy debate and UK media. The work is by definition international, though they work mainly on the UK and European aspects of communications for clients.

ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS

  • A passion for corporate communications, media/digital, public affairs and understanding of the UK energy market
  • Experience of the UK energy policy debate and the interaction with the UK media
  • Strong client/budget management skills and the ability to develop lasting client relationships
  • An eye for for new business opportunities with clients and new leads
  • Team player and a self-starter with the presence to manage very bright staff
  • High energy multi-tasker, quick and diligent with strong writing capability and good attention to detail
