Our client, one of the country’s largest healthcare providers, is looking for a Healthcare Communications Manager to join its busy UK team. On a day to day basis you will help plan, prioritise and coordinate the development and implementation of healthcare professional communications on behalf of the company. You will also work with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency of messages and activity.
On a day to day basis you will help to develop and deliver a full range of proactive and reactive healthcare professional communications across all channels. You will manage a clear briefing, implementation and sign-off process for project requirements. You will also be required to work with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency of strategic approach, messages and activity and to build and maintain relationships with all levels of management within the business and attend meetings, where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have a good level of communications experience and knowledge plus an interest in the healthcare sector. You will have the ability to process complex information and create effective communications materials for diverse audiences. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential as is the need for good organisational skills including the ability to produce high quality work to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment. You will also need excellent and proven influencing skills and have knowledge or interest in the health sector. Familiarity with digital and social media would be an advantage.
