The Trust is looking to appoint a Media Officer who will contribute to the successful overall performance of the East of England Ambulance Service by providing media support to the Communications and Engagement Team.
Your responsibilities will include implementing the Trusts media relations plan and building the Trust’s reputation through deeper engagement with the media. Managing media enquiries, providing media support in an emergency or major incident, researching and writing positive stories for the media and corporate communication channels, developing relationships with key journalists, updating the website and social media platforms and ensuring accurate records of media engagement are kept are a vital part of this role.
If you have excellent IT, verbal and written skills, with the ability to analyse issues quickly, we would like to hear from you. It is essential that you are educated to degree level standard and have evidence of self development.
